You will be responsible for:
- Design, implement, and support advanced client-side applications related to finance
and blockchain.
- Write comprehensive tests to cover functional and non-functional requirements,
ensuring the high quality and reliability of the code.
- Participate in architecture design meetings, contributing to strategic decisions
that shape the future of our software solutions.
- Provide insightful code reviews for peers, fostering a culture of excellence and
continuous improvement.
- Develop a scalable and secure backend service that processes and aggregates data
from multiple blockchain networks and external APIs to enhance the Fearless Wallet's
performance.
- Implement features such as chain configurations and metadata management, staking
analytics, rewards calculator, XCM fee analysis, SCAM protection, portfolio
tracking, and crypto/fiat pricing aggregation.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and privacy regulations, incorporating
real-time monitoring to detect and address potential security threats.
- Optimize API integration and management, employing caching and rate limiting
strategies to improve response times and reduce bandwidth usage.
You need to have:
- Fluency in both spoken and written Japanese
- Proficiency in English at a high level
- Experience in client-side JavaScript development
- 1+ year of pertinent experience at the similar position
- Perfect knowledge of details in Vue framework, HTML and CSS, Web3.js
- Knowledge of software engineering processes
- Experience in designing software solutions
- Technical competences and qualifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript language
- Good understanding of building tools, for example Webpack
- NodeJS knowledge and how it differs from developing client-side applications is a
plus
- Experience with service workers, PWA (progressive web application)
- Experience in optimizing web assets and content (chunking, server-side
(pre)rendering, lazy loading, etc.)
- Skilled at writing tests (test-driven approach is preferred) and using UI testing
frameworks
- Proficiency in html/css markup
