Frontend Developer - Remote - India

• Work Schedule: 2:30 PM TO 11:30 PM IST
• Location: Remote - India
• Availability: Must be able to join within 45 days of offer

Job Summary

• Join the R&D team at REAL as a Frontend Developer.
• Implement new features, troubleshoot bugs, and lead technical vision for web and mobile applications.
• Work across React/Redux web app and React Native mobile app ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of products.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Feature Development & Bug Fixing: Implement new features and fix bugs across web and mobile apps.
• Technical Leadership: Lead the frontend technical vision, improving product quality and developer experience.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Engage in pairing sessions, code reviews, and team discussions.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers in methodologies, design principles, and best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product teams to ensure efficient execution and deployment of features.
• Advocacy for Long-Term Health: Recommend improvements for codebase sustainability.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Frontend Expertise: Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Testing Proficiency: Skilled in writing tests using Jest and Cypress/Playwright.
• Technical Direction: Ability to drive frontend technical decisions and strategy.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively.
• Remote Work: Comfortable working across different time zones and locations.
• Tech Stack Familiarity: Experience with Next.js, Redux Toolkit, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, and Figma.
• Product Focus: Strong emphasis on developer and end-user experience.

Education and Experience

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of relevant frontend development experience focusing on React, React Native, and TypeScript.
• Background in real estate applications is a plus.
• Experience in project coordination and leadership across teams.
