Job Description
- Function: Software Engineering → Frontend Development
- Technologies: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React.js
- Seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join the Growth and Experiences team.
- Work on Confluent Cloud UI in Billing to build tools and features that enhance admin
productivity.
- Develop scalable web applications with advanced visualizations and interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop distributed data streams and intuitive data flow for client-side web
applications.
- Create new visualizations and interfaces that scale with Confluent Cloud.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize performance and user experience.
- Work with designers to implement component styling and interactions.
- Partner with product managers to create a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of professional experience.
- Availability to join by March 2025.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in building client-side web applications for data-intensive applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern JS frameworks like
React/Flux.
- Understanding of modern JavaScript tooling (e.g., Webpack) and application design
principles.
- Solid foundation in algorithms and user interface development.
