Job Summary
We are seeking a Frontend Engineer with expertise in UI design and development. You will
join our Benchmark team, a cross-functional unit focused on building an advanced design
system that enhances our Benchmark product’s UI. This role bridges the gap between
designers and engineers, enabling seamless collaboration and efficient feature
development. You will also be part of broader design and frontend groups, where you will
engage with experienced colleagues, share insights, and follow modern best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system.
- Work at the intersection of engineering and design to enhance product teams’
capabilities.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable frontend solutions.
- Collaborate and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Proactively share and discuss best practices with peers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Angular.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in building, testing, and debugging complex systems within a team
environment.
- Familiarity with the entire web stack and working knowledge of Web APIs.
- Ability to write testable code with unit and integration tests.
- Experience with CSS pre-processors and frameworks.
- Proficiency in writing modern, accessible, and performant HTML and CSS.
- Strong understanding of UI patterns and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a willingness to share knowledge with the team.
